Slight fading/shelfwear to spine, wear to crown and base. Some play to spine, but binding intact. Pages have dust dulling but are clear and sharp.

These are her very popular travel accounts. In VG/G condition. Brown boards blindstamped with decoration, gilt lettering to spines. Vol I in VG condition; some minor chipping and small stains to cover, light wear to spine crown and base. Pages clean with tight binding. Vol. II has faded covers with light spine; pages are also clean, binding not quite as tight. Together they make a VG-/G+ set.

2 Volumes . 80th Thousandth printing between July and October 1852 of the first edition / both volumes. Red gilt gift binding with a center vignette of the cabin scene surrounded by floral decorations with two line boxed gilt borders. Spines moderately sunburned. Both volumes slightly cocked. In original fine bindings unrestored showing wear only at lower corners of boards. Six black and white bound-in plates. Slight occasional foxing.
