20th Printing, No. 1, 129 to be exact. "Being Choice Selections from the Best Poets." With introduction by author. Illustrated with B&W engravings, including portrait of Bryant in frontis. Very Good condition. Heavily embossed brown leather features embelleshed gilt lettering. Gilt well intact; there is significant rubbing around the edges, giving it a great vintage look to the leather. 5-ringed spine with 2" missing piece. 789 pp. Only stains/spotting on title pages, and one stain in the lower corner of the last 40 pages. Else the fragile pages are in near perfect condition, tight, edges bright gilt. Illustrations tissue guarded.

In two volumes. Illustrated with beautiful engraved drawings, Shakespeare and Bryant in Volume 1, Shelley and others Vol. 2. Half maroon hardcover and half brown leather, marbled endpapers and marbled edging. Gilded lettering on spine and five raised bands. Edges and leather corners worn down somewhat. Both volumes tight and intact, pages clean. In Very Good condition.

Some darkening around the edges. Thick glossy pages a sharp and bright. About half have some water stains. Gilt edges bright. Overall well preserved copy that presents very well. 39 pp.
