1920 First Edition Leather Hard Cover Good Rare/Collectable Signed by Author
Scarce 1920 First Edition signed and inscribed by Kipling to noted friend American poet Thomas Kenney: "To Tom, from Kip, July 21-20". Red Leather covered boards stamped with an elephant insignia in bright gilt, with gilt title on cover and decorations along spine. Red satin bookmark ribbon attached. Both boards are detached; covers have some wear to extremities but remain fresh and bright. Chipping to spine. First 58 pages detached, but remainder well bound in spite of fragile spine.
